I will never forget Lisbon, as fortunately or unfortunately,
I had to patrol as soon as the shippe docked in Full Marine Dress Blues (by myself).
The pier, with the people from Lisbon looking at me for (4) hours.
The fortunate thing is that one of my buddies yelled over the side that I had won the
"Anchor Pool" for $50.00 (probably equals $500.00 today). With my winnings
I took my buddies shown below in this picture out for a night in Lisbon!
